• We currently accept most Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) plans, except BlueValue, BlueHome, and BlueLocal.

• We are paneled with Aetna (including State Health Plan).

• Dr. Meyer and Drew are also preferred providers for the Duke Student Insurance Plan.

• We are out-of-network for most other insurance plans in the area; you may be able to negotiate a single-case agreement with your insurance provider for our services.

 

Please contact your insurance company before our first appointment to verify that we are in-network with your plan. It would also be helpful to ask if you have any remaining deductible to meet before BCBS reimburses your session fees.

 

If you'd like to access out-of-network benefits for your insurance plan, please contact your insurance company before our first meeting. They likely provide benefits that would cover a portion of your session fees. Typically, you would pay for the full session fee up front, and we would provide you with a detailed receipt ("super bill") to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

If, for some reason, your insurance company does not pay for claims submitted on your behalf, you are responsible for the full amount of unreimbursed services.

Fees are due at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards, and health savings (HSA) / flexible spending account (FSA) cards.
